Welcome to

Stepping Stones In The Community (SITC)

where we are dedicated to making a lasting impact in Birmingham, one person at a time. Founded on the belief that every individual deserves access to resources and support for a fulfilling life, SITC is committed to creating positive change in our community.

About Us

Steppingstones in the community was established during COVID-19, we began with supporting members of the community with providing food packs, supporting the elderly with collecting prescriptions, as well as supporting them with benefit applications/council tax payments and ‘buddying’ support to help with mental health and social isolation. We also supported youngsters with their homeschooling and offered parents support, empowering them to be able to support their children. Since then, we have registered as a CIC and continue to deliver services in the local community.

Our Mission

At SITC, we prioritize collaboration and innovation in our relentless pursuit of positive change. Partnering with local businesses, government agencies, and community leaders, we leverage collective expertise to implement holistic solutions addressing the root causes of social issues, ensuring sustainable change for generations to come.

Our Aims

The overall aims and objectives of our organisation are to carry out activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation); to facilitate, support and provide educational and recreational opportunities that strengthen community cohesion, and activities that have a positive impact on the local communities life including but not limited to health, wellbeing and welfare for people of all ages and abilities in Sandwell, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
